Our Story
Tan It Girl was created in 2019 after Kylie left the world of front-line healthcare to spend time with her daughter who was battling anorexia, and anxiety and who was also newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
During this time, Kylie and her daughter bonded while working towards achieving a healthier lifestyle, both mentally and physically. They both loved tanning and achieving that sun-kissed, healthy-looking glow, and they loved the feeling of confidence that came from it. So, Kylie decided to create her own brand of sunless tan.
She wanted to create a sunless tan that looked gorgeously natural (minus any harmful ingredients, one that would be loved on all types of skin. Kylie wanted a product that was organic, easy to apply and that would become a staple in the bathrooms of every person on their own confidence journey, just like Kylie and her daughter.
Kylie worked on creating a lightweight, green-based sunless tan, that smelled incredible, and from there, the Tan It Girl products that you know and love today was born.
The Tan It Girl logo includes the sun to represent Kylie's dad (her biggest supporter) who sadly passed away. His bright, happy smile and his love for life were infectious, and these qualities have become the essence of the brand today.
Tan It Girl may come from humble beginnings, however,
“from humble beginnings come great things." And through generosity, grit, and determination (and some sacrifice) Tan It Girl is fast becoming a brand known for kindness, happiness, care, giving to others, and above all, unbeatable quality.
